The purpose of these Terms of Service (the "Terms") is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between BYTREND INC. (the "Company"), which operates the cyber mall and concierge platform at bytrend.co.kr (the "Service"), and Users who access and use the Service. The Service includes — but is not limited to — VIP transport, signature tours, business interpretation, shopping concierge, and gourmet concierge offerings, as well as the sale of related goods.
"Service" means all online and offline operations provided by BYTREND through bytrend.co.kr, including the booking and execution of VIP transport, signature tours, business interpretation, shopping concierge, gourmet concierge, and the sale and delivery of related goods.
"User" means any Member or Non-Member who accesses the Service.

"Non-Member" means a person who uses the Service without registering an account.
"Pre-Inquiry" means the mandatory consultation request submitted via the Reservation Form, LINE, WhatsApp, telephone, or e-mail prior to the conclusion of any service contract. No service may be confirmed or paid for without prior submission of a Pre-Inquiry. Where a User has completed payment for a period in which the booking has become unavailable, the Company shall communicate with the User and a payment cancellation procedure may be initiated.
"Itinerary" means the User's selected combination of vehicle reservation, tour selections, and ancillary services consolidated under the My Itinerary feature.
"Marker Item" means a service item displayed at a price of zero (0). Marker Items represent locations that have no admission fee and are open to free entry, allowing Users to designate such free-entry destinations within their itinerary. Locations that require an entrance fee or usage fee are registered as priced products from the outset and are settled through the Service.

"Confidentiality Obligations" means the discretion, non-disclosure, and data-handling duties applied to all VIP movement information, business interpretation content, and personal data collected in connection with the Service.
The Company posts the contents of these Terms, the trade name, the name of the representative, the business address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, business registration number, e-commerce registration number, and the personal information manager on the initial service screen of bytrend.co.kr so that Users may readily review them.
The Company provides a separate connected screen or pop-up screen requiring Users to confirm important details — including cancellation, withdrawal, and refund conditions — before accepting these Terms.
The Company may amend these Terms within the scope of relevant laws including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, the Information and Communications Network Act, the Tourism Promotion Act, and the Personal Information Protection Act.
When the Terms are amended, the Company shall post a notice on the initial screen specifying the application date and reasons for amendment from at least 7 days prior to the application date. Amendments unfavorable to Users require a grace period of at least 30 days, with clear before/after comparison.
Amended Terms apply only to contracts concluded after the application date. For existing contracts, the prior Terms remain in effect unless the User explicitly accepts the amended Terms within the notice period.
Matters not specified herein follow the consumer protection guidelines, the Tourism Promotion Act, the standard form contracts of the Korea Fair Trade Commission, and related practices in e-commerce.
The Company provides the following services:
The Company may change the contents of services to be provided under future contracts where technical specifications, partner availability, or operational conditions change. In such cases, the Company shall immediately post notice of the changed contents and the date of application.
Where the contents of a contracted service must change due to operational reasons (vehicle unavailability, venue closure, weather, force majeure, etc.), the Company shall immediately notify the User through the registered contact channel and shall offer one of the following:
The Company shall compensate Users for damages caused by such changes, except where the change is due to the User's own cause, force majeure, or where the Company proves no intent or negligence.
The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in the event of maintenance, replacement, failure of information and communication facilities, or interruption of communication.
The Company shall compensate Users or third parties for damages arising from such suspension, except where the Company proves no intent or negligence.
Where the Service cannot be provided due to the conversion, abandonment, or merger of business, the Company shall notify Users in accordance with Article 8 and shall provide compensation in accordance with conditions originally set by the Company. Where no compensation criteria are set, the User shall be compensated — by a method designated by the Company — through one of the following corresponding to the value of the User's unused services: discount coupons, vouchers valid for use within one (1) year, in-kind compensation, or cash.
A User applies for membership by completing the registration form and indicating consent to these Terms.
The Company shall register the applicant as a Member unless any of the following applies:
The membership contract is established when the Company's acceptance reaches the applicant.
Members shall notify the Company within a reasonable period of any change to registered information.
A Member may request withdrawal at any time, and the Company shall process such withdrawal immediately. Provided that, records related to past contracts, payments, and dispute resolution shall be retained as required by relevant laws (see Privacy Policy Article 4).
The Company may restrict or suspend membership if the Member:
Where restriction or suspension recurs more than twice or the cause is not corrected within 30 days, the Company may terminate the membership.
Termination requires individual notice with at least 30 days' opportunity for the Member to make representations.
The Company may give notice to a Member through the e-mail address designated at registration, or through the contact channel agreed by the Member (LINE, WhatsApp, telephone).
Notices to an unspecified number of Members may be substituted by posting on the bulletin board for at least one (1) week. Provided that, matters significantly affecting individual transactions shall always be notified individually.
All bookings and contracts under the Service require submission of a Pre-Inquiry before payment through the Reservation Form, LINE, WhatsApp, telephone (02-784-8485), or e-mail (ceo@bytrend.co.kr).
The Company shall respond to Pre-Inquiries within 24 hours (KST) of receipt.
The Pre-Inquiry response is not a confirmed booking. A confirmed booking is established only when:
The Company reserves the right to decline any Pre-Inquiry where operational, scheduling, or compliance constraints prevent execution at BYTREND's standards.
Users apply for the Service through one or more of the following:
Where the Company must provide a User's personal information to a third party (Partner, logistics provider, embassy, etc.), the Company shall notify and obtain consent for: (1) recipient identity, (2) purpose of use, (3) items provided, and (4) retention and use period — even where any of these subsequently change.
Where the Company entrusts personal information processing to a third party, the Company shall notify and obtain consent for: (1) entrustee identity and (2) entrusted work content. Where entrustment is necessary for service execution and User convenience, notice through the Privacy Policy may substitute, in accordance with the Information and Communications Network Act.
The Company may decline a service application where:
For minors, the Company shall notify that the contract may be cancelled if consent of the legal representative was not obtained.
The contract is established when the Company's acceptance reaches the User in the form of the confirmation notice under Article 13.1.
The Company's acceptance shall include information on the User's application, sale availability, and the procedures for change or cancellation.
Payment for services or goods may be made by any of the following methods made available by the Company. The Company shall not collect any nominal surcharge from the User in addition to the price.
All published prices in USD are reference prices. The actual settlement currency, exchange rate, and any cross-border fees shall be confirmed at the time of payment confirmation by the PG provider.
Where the User selects an international payment method, the User acknowledges that processing time may exceed standard domestic payment processing.
Upon receiving the User's application, the Company shall send a confirmation notice.
A User who receives the confirmation notice may request immediate change or cancellation if there is any inconsistency. The Company shall process such request without delay, provided that where payment has been completed, the cancellation policies in Articles 16 and 18 shall apply.
Vehicle services are provided through Partner companies contracted by the Company. The published vehicle lineup (Kia Carnival Limousine, Hyundai Staria Hybrid, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Hyundai Solati Limousine) reflects the Company's curated partner fleet.
The vehicle price includes the professional driver's fee. All Partner drivers are bilingual (Korean and at least one of English, Japanese, or Chinese) and serve in a dual capacity as driver and on-board interpreter.
The Company also operates a small in-house fleet at the Yeouido headquarters, which is used primarily for short-distance operations. The vehicle assigned to a confirmed booking will be communicated in the Tailored Proposal.
Service Selection Order: Bookings are designed to follow the sequence: Vehicle selection → Tour/Service selection. Where the User wishes to book individual tours without a vehicle, the Company will advise on feasibility during Pre-Inquiry.
The Company supervises Partner operations under integrated coordination but does not assume direct employer liability for Partner personnel. Where damage occurs due to Partner negligence, the Company shall mediate between the User and the Partner and ensure compensation under the responsibility framework agreed with the Partner.
Goods (shopping concierge): The Company shall take ordering, packaging, and dispatch actions so that goods can be delivered within seven (7) days of the User's order. Where payment has been received, action shall be taken within three (3) business days. Delivery progress is trackable.
Tour and Concierge Services: The Company shall execute the booked service on the date and time specified in the confirmed Tailored Proposal. The four-phase Service Protocol applies: Membership → Fleet Reservation → Itinerary Design → Execution with Briefing.
Marker Items (zero-priced items) represent locations that have no admission fee and are open to free entry, allowing the User to designate such free-entry destinations within the itinerary. Locations that require an entrance fee or usage fee are registered as priced products from the outset and are settled through the Service.
The Company specifies the delivery method, cost burden, and period for each goods category. Where the Company exceeds the agreed period, the Company shall compensate damages, except where no intent or negligence is proven.
The following category-specific cancellation policies apply to tour and experience services. These policies are published on the corresponding service page and are accepted by the User at the time of booking:
Where service cannot be performed due to weather, natural disaster, government restriction, or other force majeure, full refund or rescheduling shall be offered without penalty.
Where a refund is due under these Terms, the Company shall process the refund within three (3) business days of confirming the cancellation event.
For credit card or e-money payments, the Company shall request the payment service provider to stop or cancel the charge without delay.
International payment refunds may take additional processing time depending on the originating bank or PG provider; such additional time does not constitute delay by the Company.
Late refunds (where the Company is responsible for the delay) shall accrue delay interest in accordance with the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
For goods purchased through the Shopping Concierge (physical products), Users may withdraw the subscription within seven (7) days of receipt, in accordance with Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
Tour and experience services are not subject to the seven-day withdrawal rule of e-commerce law; instead, the cancellation policies in Article 16 apply, in accordance with the Tourism Promotion Act and the Korea Fair Trade Commission's Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards for the travel industry.
Goods may not be returned where:
For paragraphs A through D above, the User's right of withdrawal is not restricted unless the Company specified the restriction in advance or provided a sample.
Where goods differ from the displayed information, advertisement, or contract, the User may withdraw within 30 days of delivery or 3 months from awareness.
The Company shall refund the price within three (3) business days of receiving returned goods.
For credit card or e-money payments, the Company shall request the payment service provider to stop or cancel the charge without delay.
The User shall pay the return shipping cost. The Company shall not seek penalty or damages for withdrawal. Provided that, where goods differ from the advertisement or contract, the Company shall pay the return cost.
Where the User paid shipping cost upon receipt, the Company shall clearly indicate the cost-burden party for withdrawal.
The Company's processing of Users' personal information is governed by the BYTREND Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The Company shall provide goods and services in a consistent and stable manner as required by law and these Terms, and shall not engage in acts contrary to public order or good morals.
The Company shall maintain a security system to protect Users' personal information (including credit information) for safe Internet service use.
The Company shall be liable for damages caused by unfair marketing or advertising practices specified in Article 3 of the Act on Fair Labeling and Advertising.
The Company does not send unsolicited commercial advertising e-mails. Provided that, communications related to (i) confirmed bookings, (ii) Tailored Proposals in response to Pre-Inquiries, (iii) operational changes, and (iv) seasonal concierge offerings explicitly opted into by the User shall not be deemed advertising.
The Member is responsible for the management of the ID and password except where otherwise provided.
The Member shall not allow a third party to use the Member's ID and password.
The Member shall notify the Company immediately upon becoming aware of theft or third-party use, and shall follow the Company's instructions.
The User shall not engage in any of the following:
The Company maintains strict Confidentiality Obligations regarding all VIP movement information, business interpretation content, client identity, itinerary details, and personal data collected in connection with the Service.
All Company personnel and Partners are bound by Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) by default. No client identity or itinerary information is published in any public-facing material without the explicit written consent of the User.
Business Interpretation engagements: All terminology, transcripts, working notes, and communications generated during interpretation sessions are deemed confidential. Such materials are securely destroyed within 30 days of engagement completion, unless retention is required by the User or by law.
The User shall likewise hold confidential any non-public operational, security, or pricing information shared by the Company in the course of service execution.
Copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by the Company belong to the Company.
Users shall not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise commercially exploit information obtained through the Service without the prior written consent of the Company.
Where the Company uses content attributable to a User (e.g., testimonial, anonymized case reference), the Company shall notify the User and use the content only as agreed.
The Company operates a dispute and damage compensation processing channel (02-784-8485, ceo@bytrend.co.kr) to receive and resolve User complaints.
The Company prioritizes the prompt handling of User complaints. Where prompt handling is not possible, the Company shall immediately notify the User of the reason and the expected schedule.
For e-commerce dispute claims, the Company may comply with adjustment by the dispute settlement agency designated by the Korea Fair Trade Commission or by metropolitan or provincial governors.
Korean law governs all contracts, claims, and disputes arising under or in connection with the Service.
For disputes between the Company and a User, jurisdiction shall be the local court having jurisdiction over the User's address at the time of complaint, or — where the address is unclear or the User is a foreign resident — the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, with the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance.
The Service is operated for international VIP clientele, including foreign nationals visiting the Republic of Korea.
Language: The English version of these Terms is the operative version for international Users. Korean translations are provided for reference and statutory compliance; in case of conflict, the English version controls for international Users, except where Korean law mandates otherwise.
Currency: Published USD prices are reference prices; settlement is conducted in the currency confirmed at payment.
Visa, immigration, and travel documents: The User is responsible for ensuring valid passport, visa, and entry/exit documentation. The Company does not provide visa services.
Travel insurance: The Company strongly recommends comprehensive international travel insurance. The Company is not liable for damages or losses recoverable through the User's own travel insurance policy.
These Terms shall take effect on the date specified in the header. Where amendments are made under Article 3.4, the amendment notice shall specify the new effective date.
